Baby Poeka Birthday Pool Bash 2 - 2010

Oh My Dear Friends,

What a party is was!
It was a beautiful day, all the flags and balloons were shimmering in the sun, the pool was glittering, and I got all starry-eyed from it.

Everyone had fun. We all won prizes, swam and had lots of food.
At the end my mommy gave a Poekie Kit away in a lottery, and Lily won the kit!

The photos below will tell you all we did, but mommy was too busy to take pictures of the Roller Skate race, the Balance Race, AND the prizes.

I will never forget this wonderful day.
THANK YOU FOR COMING!

Love,
Baby Poeka - June 18th, 2010

Here I am in my pretty dress on a board of our Diving Castle. I went swimming later, but Bellafleur didn't want to get wet.

THE LAWN - The whole back lawn was decorated and it looked like a real fair.   THE POOL - Yes, our pool glittered even though it was deflating.

We also had the Poekie Flinger by the pool. A very fun launch into the pool!   Pengu was there too.

THE ZIP-LINE - In the back you see someone running with a Poekie in the gondola on the zip-line. It will stay up all summer for more zipping fun.   CRAFTS - Bella, a Planet alumna, was very busy all day long.

We made marble geodes from wet wool.   We colored skate boards for the Roller Skate Race.

We made Baby Poeka bubble-blowers and blew bubbles.   THE MAZE - A nice walk through flowers and leaves.

But it's a long way to the Cheese-its!   THE SLIDE - It's not easy to slide straight down a skinny board.

The reward is a star from Ayla.   THE PANCAKE RACE - How fast can you run around the trees without dropping your Poekie from the board?

Quite fast!   Wyatt carefully timed everyone running around.

We need a break from all the action now and then.
THE ROAD RACE - Was very active and took a lot of work.

Skillful work.   Super skillful work.

So many friends...   so happy...

and at home.   THE BRIDGE - This obstacle course was so hard, we made it easier.

At the end, Nicole carefully watched for mistakes,

and gave everyone a star!

THE RESTAURANT - A yummy menu.   The wonderful moms who served everyone.

The grown-ups had fun too.   And so did alumni.

Many thanks to everyone who made the BPBPB2 possible:
Jet, Annette, Julie, Ayla, Bella, Nicole, Wyatt, Dave and Tom.
