Poekie's birthday is on Valentine's Day, because he is the Poekie of Love. He always turns three, even though he's really already twelve years old.
He loves his adopted daughter Baby Poeka so much, and she loves to swim, that he agreed to have a pool party. He doesn't care too much about the excitement, but he loves to see everyone happy.

We made a diving tower out of an old castle. It had two diving boards and a slide. The k'nex swing above the pool was attached to the ceiling. We had made Poekie inner tubes from clear plastic tubing in which we had poured glitter. The pool was actually rather small, especially for the amount of Poekies that came, at least thirty! It was crazy and great fun! And of course everyone had tea and treats.

Baby Poeka thinks she wants to dive from the highest board. She needed help closing her nose and ears.

It helped Baby Poeka get over the fluffiness in her head. (Too much diving and swinging.)
